It might seem odd but i always slept better with 15mgs and have read many post of people saying the same thing that the lower dose is better for sleep. Talk to your Dr about it.

Melatonin to help it along. Its natural (it's the same thing that your body makes to tell your brain that it's time to get ready for bed), and there are no side effects aside for drowsiness. Stagger the doses - don't take the same amount every time and don't take it the same days. This will keep your body from learning to compensate for the rise in tonin levels.

I posted this at another catagory

I just picked up a CD called Midnight Surf.
It is a recording of ocean waves splashing onto shore..
Helps block out my apartment noise and helps me to sleep.
There are lots of "white noise" sounds you can buy to listen too,
to help you relax some and get to sleep.
I play on repeat, on my PC.

Rain sounds on a roof I like too... I Can't Sleep!

I Can't Sleep!
Thanks for this!

I feel your pain. I've been on and off meds for sleep and non off them helped me. The only thing that has come close to help is melatonin. Didn't know about staggering the dose those though.

I'd suggest talking it out with your doc and seeing if changing the dose or something else could be more productive for you.

are you still having issues sleeping ? have you changed anything recently, broke a fan or tossed out those comfy pj's ? is there something pretty heavy happening to you right now thats keeping you from taking your mind off of it ? , id like to know what things besides drugs you have tried, do you have 20 dollars you can spend on some old fashioned cure ? there are many natural things you can try, from rain on the radio to blindfold across the eyes, and so many things in between
