I sleep with my eyes open.
wide open. i know im doing it too, cuz i can see stuff in my room while im sleeping... and i still dont wake up.

WTH??

Theta sleep. Not actually "dreaming" or even "sleep" per se. It's your body going into sleep mode while your brain, with the help of your eyes remaining open, remains in the waking state (known as Alpha)
