yes. I hit that wall right before I get really hyper (overtiredness). I've leanred the best thing to do when you get like this is to remove yourself from the scene (go in a quiet place, listen to soothing music or look at a book, stroke your pet, curl up in a bunch of blankets, etc.) But hopefully, if you notice you are getting like this more a lot, really work on getting enough rest, eating healthy, and exercising so you don't end up in such a bad position to begin with.

Yes. You are so stressed/exhausted that you just want to sit and cry. When you allow those thoughts to run rampant, it can overwhelm you and freeze you into inaction. It's okay to cry, there's nothing wrong with it. As soon as you feel up to it, you can do what Miswimmy1 suggested. =) It's okay to take a break. Give yourself some credit-you made it through the day.

It could also be depression. Fatigue/exhaustion, and the wanting to cry are all synonymous with being depressed.

A HUGE component in this is that I have Sleep Apnea (which I've just recently been diagnosed with), so I've only been using a sleep mask/machine for two weeks----hardly enough time to get my body/brain back to its normal somnamatic rhythms.

Also I told my Sleep Dr how every week-two weeks before my period I am like this, and he said he has been told his by many patients, and recently read it in medical journals. He believes there is definitely "something there" in regards to the PMS hormones, etc. and the fatigue. Which is why I'm seeing an internist next week.

When I'm like this I do just hang out in bed as much as I can, wrap up in the blanket and try to blot out the world. But my mind goes in so many directions (the hyperness Misswimmy mentioned) and hyper anxiety as well.
