I'm sorry I missed this post before. I'll do my best to answer it now

This is a rather heavy question. To get a good perspective, I need to know a few things...

- How active is your daily life? How healthy do you normally eat?
- What, if any, is your before bed routine like? Do you go to sleep at the same time each night?
- What medications, if any, are you taking at the moment?
- Do you have any major mental disorders on diagnosis? Do you suffer from sleep apnia?

You should be aware that there is no real set number of hours one "needs" to sleep to get a healthy amount of rest. What is truly important is how much Delta and how much REM sleep you get, which is never a static number.

maybe you can add more exercise - that can help regulate sleep, too. Have you talked to a doctor?

See, I was gonna say exercise, but if Mostafa's already highly active during hte day it won't make a difference.

You could also try taking a little melatonin half an hour before you go to sleep to help your body get into sleep time mode. This works best if you're already set with a bedtime routine, as you can add the suppliment to the routine and train your body to produce more Melatonin when said routine starts happening.

You need good sleep for the health. I mean 6 hours or more is definitely needed.

Most of the science now says the ideal number is 7.5 hours...but it all depends on how long your rem cycles last. Basically, you need enough time to get through the rem cycle and slip back through the stages until you reach theta, and then alpha again.
