Anyone else have this problem? I used to grind my teeth and had to use a gum guard. I then stopped and threw the gum guard out. Last night was the first time in 18 months or so that I started again. I woke my boyfriend up twice during the night.
I think I also managed to grind some of my teeth down because I'm sure I could feel chips in my mouth and this morning some teeth are very sensitive.
I hadn't taken Seroquel for a while, and the last 2 nights I have - maybe it's caused this?

I have also had very vivid dreams on Seroquel, including where I physically punched my duvet because I was dreaming it in my sleep.

What's going on??

Anxiety leads to teeth grinding. Consulting a therapist might help ease your anxiety.

I have vivid dreams with Seroquel. It's usually the dream that I'm having before I can get myself up. There are endless details and so many things related to the day before. I can make many connections. I've yelled out loud and the very worst was when I kicked my dog Cuff. He was ok but I could have shot myself.

I had one dream the other night where there was a large snake near me. I waited patiently and then bounced to grab it behind the head. I really did pounce and I grabbed the duvet. I hate snakes.

Then I had a dream I punched someone and I punched the duvet really hard.

About 2 days ago I kicked someone, and I really kicked my bf's shins hard.

This is really getting ridiculous now!

I read that tooth grinding is the brain "twiddling its thumbs". The book recommended eating a bagel or other "chewy" (apple works too) food before bed and wear out the jaw muscles some and it would lessen. Maybe chew gum a lot during the day? I think I tried (my dentist says I grind/ground my teeth (this was many many years ago -- I've never broken any, or anything like that) out the food before bed thing and didn't really notice any difference but I never noticed I ground my teeth, either :-)
