![]() Now...nothing, and I am devastated. What can I do? I take 100mg Lamictal and 160mg Geodon for Bipolar 1, mixed with Psychosis before bedtime because these meds would put me to sleep during the day so I have to take them at night. Yes I am stable but have gained 30lbs and I don't dream anymore. I have been through a rough period of 3 hospitalizations in a 6 month period so I know I need the meds. But it's a pretty big trade-off. ![]() Anyone have any suggestions to get my dreams back? |

I would work with my imagination during the day; write day dreams out and stories, etc. I found this book by a psychoanalyst very helpful:
Daydreaming: Unlock the Creative Power of Your Mind: Diane Barth: 9780140250312: Amazon.com: Books

Perna, thank you!
I make up imaginary stories every night while lying in bed. But I can try this more often during the day. Good tip. I'm also an artist but after a recent move across the country I haven't been drawing very much. I will get back to my art and this will help too. I used to write poetry. I have a thick manuscript of poems but have not written one since I was sick....well maybe one or two. I will get back into this too. I just don't feel quite settled in yet in the new place and there is so much mundane stuff to get done. Arrrrrgggghhhh. Anyways, thanks for the web page. I'll check it out. There is hope huh? Thank you! |
