Sometimes it happens when I am going to sleep, but usually it is when I wake up when I may see someone standing next to my bed watching me who really isn't there, may hear a noise, sometimes just a random noise and other times its a voice, and other times, most recently, I may feel the sensation of something like being poked or feeling bugs crawling in my bed. Hate that.

That. Is standard, text book sleep paralysis. Mostly, it's included the feeling of being held down, but everything you describe is standard experience. Basically, your sleeping mind and your waking mind have locked up and while you are somewhat observing the waking world, the part of your brain that controls movement hasn't basically turned back on yet. So your subconscious mind reads this as "I'm trapped. What's holding me down? Who's trying to keep me here?" and it fills in the blanks as best it can.

Yeah but I don't have that very often, it is more like ill wake up and see someone next to my bed and when I turn on the light, it's gone. I know it's normal. But yeah I don't get the paralysis very often, barely remember when it last happened. I just get the common herring or seeing things while awake without the paralysis.

Then it's simply your subconscious mind not wanting to let go of control

Same thing happens to me, whether I'm experiencing sleep paralysis or not. Sometimes if I wake up on my side I will feel someone clinging onto me or whispering in my ear.

Your mind is projecting your feelings for you. Do you feel bugged by something in real life? Are you feeling watched in real life? By a Boss or Parent?

some might not agree with my post, or believe it.. but often times what ur describing is also associated with spirits...
i have experienced i, as well as some of my family members..(we lived next door to a new age with who didnt like us very much) many people dont believe that it is true or can happen.. but i've seen it and i've even got footage/ still images, accidently caught on camera of spirits surrounding my brothers girlfriend.. it's scary...
but it's important to remember that not all spirits are evil or intend to harm you.. sometimes they are just wanting to make contact.. but if you feel unsafe or threatened by them in any way.. whatever ur religion is.. i would pray to your God,for them to leave you alone...

Then, probably this dream mirrors how you feel living with your Parents.
