Sometimes I can't figure out if it was a dream, or if it was in real life. This has been happening more lately, & i really can't figure out if it was a dream or not. Then I will tell people that, but it could of never happened.

Hhmmm. That's happened to me a couple times. I usually just take it with a grain of salt.

If you are having a "lucid" dream, you have the capacity to control the action...to write the script, do to speak. The next time you have one of these "events", look at the hands of someone in the dream...even your own hands. If it is a dream, the hands will always be misshapen...some fingers too long, etc. Alternatively, hold your nose and try to breathe. In a dream, you will have no problem breathing thru your nose even though you have it pinched shut.

That happens to me all the time! I've got narcolepsy, so my doc told me that they are hypnopompic (if waking up) or hypnogogic (if falling asleep) hallucinations. There was a long time when I got frustrated by trying to sort reality from hallucination, but with lots of practice it will get easier. And there may be somethings you will never be able to sort.
Good luck though! ![]()
