Dreams about towns in which I've never been

I have these towns in my dreams, which I visit recurringly. I know these towns, the topography and the streets. One is very lovely, a mountain town. I feel I need to find it! I go there looking for shops in which I can sell my art.
It's probably just wishful thinking on my part, but I'm thinking I should start out on some road trips to find what towns are within driving distance.

It sounds like a nice dream. I'm assuming you've never seen these towns in real life before. Are they a mixture of towns you've seen in real life, maybe real towns or even ones you've seen on TV? That may help to explain why they look the way they do, and the feelings associated with them. Call me crazy... But I do think people can give themselves hints about the future. Sometimes I think it's because their unconscious has done some math and logic for improving your life, and sometimes I wonder if we can sense future changes somehow. Either way, is there any nice mountain towns with shops you've been thinking about in real life?

Also, it could be your inner mind giving you hints about what you want to do in your life.

Breezy Day...no, never seen anything like these towns, in real life or on TV, movies, anything, and one in particular is extremely vivid.

I don't know that I believe in past lives, but this place in the dream seems very real.

I HAVE had one dream which was a portend of a disaster. I'll post about it.
