I don't know about others but I find exercising before bed really helps settle my "Monkey Mind" and I seem to sleep better. I go on the treadmill for a brisk walk and run while listening to music. Seems to really do the trick to get me to settle down and fall asleep.

Yoga is another nice way to relax your mind and stretch your body before bedtime.
A good one is the relaxation one that melts away stress and enhances flexibility and improves sleep. Tamal Dodge's Yoga Dvd called YOGA For Energy & Relaxation. Two separate Yoga exercises one for energy and the other for relaxation. Rodney Yee has great selection of meditative Yoga Dvds. |

Yes exercising before bed really makes my body tired, wanting rest and I sleep well. Also it makes me feel good about myself.
