Hi I'm new here. Is there anyone who can relate to your mind running on a treadmill 24/7 unless your exhausted? Even then it occurs its just more manageable..what works for you if anything? Thanks in advance (:

I've found sometimes that if you cannot sleep,
you shouldn't try to force yourself to sleep.
A quiet hour of watching TV until I felt genuinely
sleepy seemed to do the job....

Before I forget, welcome to PsychCentral!

Thank you Doug! It seems to make no difference if I lay in bed, watch TV, read, etc. Nothing helps. Working out helps some but I still go for 26 hours+ with no sleep usually

Shattered, 26 hours*+*. It varies. Some days/nights worse than others. Everyones different. I usually burn out since I'm up for sometimes 30hrs at a time with only 30 minutes to an hour of sleep between no-sleep-marathons. Either way it sucks...I've made like 30 collages in 2 days *sighs*

in my case, it's a little reading, then it's my harry potter game.

or sometimes tv

i hate the nights that drag on really slow... 1 minit seems like 1 hour, so i've learnt to find stuff to do
