My dreams of teeth falling out just got worse. Now instead of just teeth falling out, part of my jaw bone came out with the molars. The jaw bone seemed old and brittle too. Like it had been rotting in my skull and dead for a while.

Does this have any corolation to me entering in a new relationship? Should I be more open to my BF?

Could be. You are now relating and speaking in a new way! The old way of speaking is now long dead. No more jaw boning.

I've had lots of teeth rotting dreams when not even in a relationship. I don't think it has to do with relationships at all. If anything it has to do with worrying that you have bad oral hygiene and you're teeth are going to go bad.

these dreams are supposed to mean you have high anxiety levels.

Hello people,
I used to have teeth dreams , and I think sertraline caused a lot of my molars to rot away, but the time it took for the rot to cause damage that I didn't realise until later that the sertraline caused it. Plus , also and as well I tend to clench my teeth a lot when anxious

Check in book of dreams what that means. Even though trust me your dream is piece of cake when it comes to my dreams . I could start write horrors movie scripts.

I have read somewhere that it is fear or some other negative anxious emotion related to finances. I know it is true for me. Whenever I worry about money i have those dreams. I also think it could be related to any other anxiety too

It is not nice to dismiss the original poster's dream like that. It is obviously distressing to him / her.

Dreams of teeth falling out getting worse?

Crying isn't a sign of weakness. It's a sign of having tried too hard to be strong for too long.

I have dreams about losing teeth all the time. I finally got a book about dreams and it said: Teeth falling out in dreams symbolize change. They indicate fear of losing something important. There's a whole bunch of other stuff too because there are ways that it can be positive and ways that it's negative. If you are interested I could actually bring the book with me to work so I can tell you more of what it says.

Maybe you fear losing yourself to your new relationship? Maybe it has nothing to do with the relationship and has to do with something else in your life.

Hey on a side note whenever you have a dream about your teeth falling out do you ever have to run to a mirror and check when you wake up? I know it's silly and it was just a dream but I still have to see that I'm ok

I agree, for me dreams of teeth falling out are very disturbing. I wake in horror checking my jaw if my teeth are still there or if blood is not gushing out of my mouth and I am sure it is distressing to OP as I can relate. Saying this is nothing because someone else has worse dreams isn't nice

I've had dreams about my teeth falling out since I was about five. It used to be that several molars would come out as one über-tooth, and my mum would shout at me and humiliate me infront of other children and my childminder for pulling my teeth out and tell me they wouldn't come back, and then the rest would start to come loose. More recently I dream that I've ground my teeth so hard that they break in my mouth. Sometimes there's blood and screaming and sometimes it's just the crunching and, even though I've had some seriously f*cked up dreams recently, which I think might be because I've been on Citalopram, the teeth one is still the one I hate most.

I don't really have anything to add to the discussion, I'm just really glad that there are other people who've had the same dreams (not in a horrible way, I just mean it's nice not to be alone).

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
