Since my TBI when I was 8, I have always been in bed by 8:00 pm. I was not able to sleep so I would take benedryl to help me sleep the whole night. Now that I have grown older, I have been able to stay up later and no longer dependent on benedryl to stay asleep.
Recently I have been experiencing sudden exhaustion. For the past week, I have logged it and right at 10:15 pm every night, I start feeling really weird. I will either be laying in bed or whatever, I suddenly get REALLY weak. All of my muscles start tingling and I find it very difficult to move. And if I do move, it takes a ton of energy. As it progresses, I start getting vertigo. It even happens when I have my eyes closed and I move my eyes. Then it gets hard to breathe. It feels like I don't have enough energy to take a deep breathe. It leaves me terrified as I lay there taking shallow breathes until I fall asleep. The scariest part is that I don't know what to do, or what is happening.

That seems to be extreme anxiety. Seeing a doctor may help you with what you are experiencing. How mush stress and anxiety are feeling in real life. In a highly stressful situation at home or at work?
