For months now, I've had difficulty staying asleep. Can anyone else relate? Every single morning at around a certain time, I jolt awake. Think this started as a result of a super stressful month at school. It's like my internal clock is stuck and incorrect. I would prefer NOT to take meds for this...yet I feel like I've tried everything in order to get back to sleep. Has anyone had success improving sleep issues like this one? I think, if you're on this part of the forum, we could all use a boost in the quality of our sleep. :/

Stress about the next day does that to me. Falling asleep is difficult. Staying asleep is difficult. And I will keep jolting awake every 10-15 minutes as the sound of the alarm clock draws near. So for me it is a matter of needing to find ways to reduce my anxiety. I use an essential oil spray I made on my pillow at night (lavender, eucalyptus and tea tree) and it does seem to help some.

Good idea! Yeah, scented candles might similarly do the trick. There's one idea to try. Thanks!
