My job requires me to commit 12hrs per day from 8-8, one week around 4 work days and this is starting to take abit of toll in me. As of now i missed 2 days of sleep everytime i return home 8am from night shifts, i am working another night shift now, and when the sun comes up, i couldnt sleep at all, sufficient rest is important for my mood. Idk why i just cant sleep during daytime.

Hello Namelessness: Many years ago now I worked nights, although I didn't typically work 12 hours per shift. Personally, I'm sort-of a night person. So I actually liked working nights. But then I was allot younger then too. I do think working nights takes getting used to. And then working 12 hour shifts would be all the more of a challenge. I don't envy you. I've read that people who work nights tend to have more health-related problems as well. I won't offer any suggestion here since I presume you are aware of the various things that are suggested to counteract insomnia. My best wishes to you...
