I don't know why, but for quite a while, I've been having dreams where I'm being abused sexually by women and even teenage girls lately, for that matter. I'm trying to make sense of it. I don't know where it came from. And a few of those teenage girls were nieces by marriage (sister in law's blood nieces). I know they want nothing to do with me, and I don't want anything to do with them either (sexually). Is there something that I can do to stop this? Medication is out of the question. I do NOT want to be drugged up, as that is part of the problem. I'm not looking to make excuses. I'm only looking to find answers.

Hi.

I'm sorry that you are struggling with these intrusive nightmares harleybikerwi. I dont recall my dreams anymore, I may not even dream at all...However, I find that physical exercise and/or writing lists of tasks for the following day before I turn in for the night assists in my achieving a restful uninterupted nights sleep. I am sure that speaking to a GP could shed some light on ways for you to move forward....medication is ofcourse a quick fix and not appropriate for some people...but there should also be other effective strategies available to you.

Be kind to yourself harleybikerwi. Q.L

Your dreams may be a response to a real life situation you are in where you are feeling that way. The situation does not have to have sex in it, for you to feel this way.

i have sex dreams every night with people in never met or never even saw or knew. i am pretty sure it is from my meds. i am married and have a nice sex life with my husband only for over 20 years now. one time i had a nightmare i was being raped and it hurt so bad i felt it after i woke up too, and no it wasn't my husband, he wasn't there at the time. I do know some husbands rape their wives so that is why i wrote that.

Your feelings, such as you "Feel Like", rather than an actual thing or event.

harleybikerwi,

Perhaps look at the stresses in your waking life? What changed around the time you began having these dreams, or was there a particular feeling you remember experiencing?

The only stresses I have is the fact that I have a mortgage and I can't seem to be able to see much of my family after working 3rd shift.
