I'm wide awake, I feel tired. What can I do to help my body and mind say it's time for sleep? First time for me never had problems before. It's because of a new med as a side effect, it should go away but what about driving?!

Could be a side effect, ask your doctor.

Some people swear by melatonin, and magnesium helps some people. Keep in mind that it may take awhile for either of these to work. I hope you find the solution soon! Not sleeping is really concerning.

I drink hot chamomile tea or hot peppermint tea right before bed and that seems to help relax me enough where I can sleep. Also i listen to the soothing music. Hope this helps.

I have no clue I have been up all night. I would give the melatonin a try, it has helped me before.

I have the solution as a longtime person with insomnia who has tried everything.

The store CVS Pharmacy (Or online)...sells OLLY Restful sleep Gummy Bears.

I take a 5mg of Melatonin everynight at 10:30...by 11 my eyes get heavy..I get in bed and chew 2 of these gummies and I never remember TRYING to fall asleep I just drift off and it is a good sleep...I wake up to use the bathroom in the night and go right back to sleep..I never had this experience before...I always would be wide awake when I went to bed..toss and turn...then it was a restless sleep...anytime I woke up to use bathroom..same thing..toss and turn.

I do take magnesium sometimes during the day..but all that does is seem to calm me down a little bit...since my benzos were cut down.
