I kept waking up in the middle of the night from not breathing. There were no thoughts that I could associate with the physical discomfort I was experiencing. It felt like I had a lot of tension in my head and labored breathing. I had to force myself to breathe and regulate my breathing after I would wake up from another episode. It was scary and very uncomfortable and lasted all through the night.

All day I've felt really fatigued and confused, like foggy, and agitated. I'm also irritable and sadder than usual even though my antidepressant should be working by now. There's nothing I can do to feel better. I've eaten plenty and I've exercised. Not even exercise can alleviate what I'm feeling; I am incapable of feeling better even with exercise. I hate being like this but I don't know what's wrong.

I've been eating well, exercising, and getting ready for bed early and waking up early. My eyes look sunken in lately but I'm taking a multivitamin, I don't know why I look so sick all the time. I don't like this, I don't like this one bit.

Hello hobo,I see that you are recently joined I hope you are enjoying the forum and finding us supportive.

I suffer with sleep apnea,I feel tired as well during the day some days and some nights I wake often and don't get good sleep, but other nights I sleep well and so feel ok the next day.
Perhaps you are one of those that need treatment at night with the oxygen mask.Maybe you need to visit your doctor or is it medics that they are called in the US to sort this out. Here in the UK they have a gadget that they put on your finger to measure your oxygen levels and if low, mine was once 17% out of 100% ,then they may give you the oxygen mask to use.

People say they sleep much better wearing the oxygen mask at night and feel good during the day because of this.I hope you can sort this and give it a try as it is worth a try if it makes things ok again for you.

I have obstructive sleep apnea. I did a sleep study and was diagnosed with that. I had similar symptoms to yours. I now use a CPAP machine.

If you can get a referral for a sleep study.

i have sleep apnea, i used to stop breathing 87 times in an hour, (a study showed) now i sleep with a CPAP machine.
i used to think i was a freak, but now i know its helping me .
my wife also has a CPAP machine, which again makes it easier for us to help each other with any issues we have.
hobo2000 go to your gp and ask for a referral to a sleep study, it will help you and it will do wonders for you i promise you....
