Btw, my subject doesn't necessarily pertain to my dream. Anyways, I've been having different dreams about the same female. Out of nowhere I have a dream about me catching up with my old friend, which I haven't seen in 10 years. I was younger at this time when I knew him, so I have fond memories of us hanging out. The female is his niece... She is 4 years younger than me, which is odd because I'm usually attracted to older women. I feel bad because of who it is I'm dreaming about, not because of the dreams. The dreams aren't sexual at all. Anyways, I have a dream about me catching up with my friend and his family, but the only person who truly sticks out is his niece. I woke up with a good feeling in my heart. I feel the urge to try and get into contact with my friend because I start to remember all of the good times as kids that we had. We are talking and hanging out sometimes now, which I don't know if it was a mistake due to the possible intention of seeing her sometime. She doesn't really remember me I don't think as she was younger. She probably doesn't know if I exist, who knows? Anyways, I've been having several dreams about her now and I don't know what to do? I cannot get her off of my mind. My feeling is genuine inside, nothing lustful as the dreams aren't sexual. The only thing that won't let me shake the dreams off as just dreams is the reoccurance of the person in my dreams. We all have social media, so don't call me a creep, but my dreams are in line with what she looks like now. It's wild as I said I had this dream out of nowhere. She's beautiful! Anyways, she is undergoing some tough times apparently from what I hear and I won't shake the dream off because what if I'm the one to help? Idk what to make of this dream or why?

Hello NightMoves: I'm sorry I can't really comment with regard to your dreams. Dreams are something I'm not knowledgeable about. From what you wrote, it doesn't sound as though a friendly contact over social media would do any harm. It might go somewhere, it might not.

I see this is your first post here on PC. So... to PsychCentral… from the Skeezyks! May the time you spend here be of benefit.

PsychCentral is a great place to get information as well as support for mental health issues. The more you post, & reply to other members’ posts, the more a part of the community you will become. Plus there are social groups you can join & chat rooms where you’ll be able to connect with other PC members in real time (once your first 5 posts have been reviewed & approved.) Lots of great stuff! So please keep posting!

I know... I've been told to try and message her or whatever, but I just don't want to seem really creepy or anything. I guess I'm being too careful. Sure it would hurt, but Idk if the occasion is right. Should I rise to it? Should I let it pass away and never know... btw, her social media aka Facebook only has message, no add, so I don't want to seem I'm reaching too far out of the way to speak to her. As I said, Idk if she even remembers me. I have spoken to other family members, so maybe my name was mentioned, but still... Idk what to do :/

Thank you for the comment. I tried to comment back, but Idk if it went through or not. Idk if I'm able to build the courage to contact her. I just don't see the situation right at the moment, but I'm scared about pursuing my dream mainly because what if it does mean something? What if it doesn't? I'm stressed enough as it is with school and everything and I just don't know what to act upon or believe is right at the moment...

Hi,
Generally, if you think about a subject in waking life it is likely to be used by your subconscious to create your dreams.
The subconscious is a very powerful and intelligent entity. The persons entire life experience is saved in the subconscious memory bank and the subconscious can pick or pluck anything out to help create the dream.
Absolutely nothing to do with the persons current state.
My guess is that you're thinking about settling down and having a conventional lifestyle with a fmily.

Perhaps you are right. I've actually just got out of a relationship not to long ago because of my current status In school. My stress load and the classes I'm taking don't allow me to put my all into a relationship, so maybe it's that restraint pushing my dreams to long for that or Idk. Perhaps I had consciously thought about her when I was younger, but she was the last person I thought I'd dream about as I had no prior thoughts or aspirations for her.

This dream shows you are attracted to her and like to contact her. Also she represents a part of yourself in the dream. A part of yourself that you have a strong connection to.
