Hi!

I had a dream where I was a really bad driver. I drove in reverse on the motorway, to give just one example. I decided never to drive again, but a few hours (dreamtime) later, I found myself behind the wheel. So I finally gave my keys to my wife.

I wonder what that means? 'Cos I'm not a particularly bad driver.

I think it means feeling out of control. I told my long term t that when i often had dreams about the car not being steerable or brakeable.
Thanks for this!

The direction you are driving in is important to note.
A car, or building, or space one occupies in a dream can mean different things, it can often represent a relationship with others or even yourself.
Did you feel in control of the car in your dream? Did you want to go backwards?
And why do you think you relinquished the keys to your wife in particular?

I've had that kind of dream too. But this was different. There was nothing wrong with the car.

It never occurred to me to give them to anyone else.
Who would you give them to?

I would guess that something is going on with your daughter, and she is turning to her mother now instead of you. Like youre just the father of the bride, expected to shut up and pay, while they "drive".
Thanks for this!

Hmm... I don't think that's it.

It might be related to the fact that W is the major breadwinner now, but that's been true for over a year.
