Does anyone else sometimes experience this at night

You're lying there just calm and relaxed, and all of a sudden, your body lifts up from the bed, and you have a weird buzzing sensation and you can see things... in the background?

They are usually distorted things in the room with you, and they move and stuff

When it ends, I find myself frozen to the spot.. it doesn't feel like I've woken up (or maybe I did, wake up abruptly)

I don't even know if I'm asleep during this.... thing.

I do remember it. sometimes. I'll be in the bathroom for example and wondering if I'm about to lift off the floor

Something connected to my epilepsy, maybe?. or does anyone have this weird experience

Thanks for this!

I have often felt paralyzed and unable to even open my eyes but I have not had the experience of being lifted up. I am not burdened with epilepsy though, so I doubt my words can be of any use to you. Hopefully others here will prove to be more helpful to you!!!
