Smoked on and off for years. Mostly on Trying to quit, again.
Quit for three years then this may i started again... Trying to quit, again. Trying to quit, again. Trying to quit, again.

So disappointing when that happens!!
There was something really stressful that triggered me and we'll that stress is by far gone
(boyfriend issues Trying to quit, again. ) but i want to quit regardless.

The money spent.. Omg. Took nothing for me to be on a pack a day!

It's been about 12ish hours. Normally id be grabbing some now. Especially with the great morning I'm having.. Ugh.. Buttt im trying green tea smokes. Yes they are not healthy but wayy better then cigs.

Hoping this continues to help!

I've never smoked a pack of cigarettes a day. but i smoked spliffs, weed+tobaccoo, for about 6 years everyday. So i can relate a bit.

I would recommend also quitting with the green tea smokes, it's not only the addiction. It also has to do with giving your hands to do other stuff and just getting your mind off of it.When you're still smoking the green tea you're not going to kick the habit of smoking.

this might sound cliche aswell, but try to start sporting ( if you aren't already). It will help with the withdrawal symptoms. it'll be easier to fall asleep, stay asleep and not wake up drenched in sweat.

Drinking loads of tea and water helped me with my upset stomach.

The most important thing however is you finding another way to deal with the stress, sporting can help with that, but there are other things that help for each different individual. Are you creative? try drawing/writing/painting.

maybe something more calming, like a jigsaw, sudoku or maybe knitting if you're into that.

I hope you'll be able to kick this habit, Goodluck!

Thanks for your reply!

It is definitely an oral fixation issue and just over the last 24 hours i can see that the green tea cigs aren't nearly as satisfying so I'm not lighting up as much!

The reason i got them was just to get off the darn nicotine and whatever else that's in cigs to keep you addicted. The habitual action of smoking is definitely another component of the addiction that i need to quit. 😯

In the past i have had a really hard time quitting so I'm just kinda desperate to stop asap. I feel like the longer i smoke the harder it gets to quit.
I am fairly optimistic that I'm on the road to be smoke free 😊😊😊

I do need to get walking again and i have started drinking tea in the morning instead of the usual coffee.

👍👍👍
