honestly sometimes i feel like i don't deserve it. Like it is more important for me to please others and condemn myself for my mistakes that happiness comes only as an added bonus in life. But that's all deep down. On the outside, and away from my home - which is the source of my unhappiness, I am known for being joyous and always happy. but merely because it makes everyone else happy. even on bad days, I have to put on a front of being cheery and crazy or my friends will complain.

I feel like I don't deserve it most of the time on the inside, but I still show happiness on the outside. It's hard being tormeted by thoughts that tell me that I need to punish myself because of the punishment I have already received.

I try ((fuzzy))) to look for good in every day which means happiness
if i did deny myself that it would be a form of self harm imo

Happiness being different for different people, I'm often too afraid to try for mine; it's easier to be "comfortable" than to risk maybe losing what I already have.

I think because I'm not mindful of the present. I'm thinking or worrying about what may happen/go wrong tomorrow, next week, or next month.
