I know it sounds cliche, but really, tell yourself you can, you will, and you are worth it. Whenever the bad stuff starts in my mind, I really try that over and over. Sometimes it takes days, sometimes it takes minutes, but it always works eventually. Other steps I take....sometimes I have to stay out of the chat rooms, or can't read certain posts, other times I'm fine with it. Mostly depends on my state of mind at the time. If I feel myself start to slip back down, I try different, positive things to put my mind elsewhere. Oh, and I take my Citalopram every day, religiously. Anyway, I could feel myself starting to slip, so thought this would be a good place to bring me back up. Hope this helps someone else in the process. Just always remember we need to be the biggest supporters of ourselves, so we need to feel good about ourselves to do that. Good positive support helps....bad negative support hurts. Let's work on us first

I agree with it all.. there is nothing 'cliche' in any positive thought when it comes to our daily survival as far as i'm concerned...so post away my friend!

I have affirmations, quotes all types of reminders that 'all is well'- stuck on my dashboard, in my wallet, kitchen cabinets... cuz i have a quick forgetter. ---avoiding negative people and environments filled with strife is so important, over time i am still learning what my triggers can be and how to recognize them.

thanks for sharing miray!
