I have very low self esteem and i dont know why when i do get compliments from people like your pretty and what not but i dont believe them.Im dating someone and im constantly comparing myself to other girls saying I wish i had bigger boobs or her hair etc.My boyfriend says im perfect but for some reason i cant believe him.Am I the only one who feels this way?

![]() But, no matter what, smile and say, "Thank you!" or some similar why thank you, thank you for noticing... or even and you do too! It's a great way to reach out to them...accepting their compliment and making them feel better about themselves. Remember, beauty isn't only skin deep ![]()

I know exactly how you feel, my boyfriend gets onto me about it constently..he says im always downing myself but i feel like i cant help it..its difficult to stop caring about how you look. I just have to think to myself "they may have bigger boobs, but i have better hair" or something along those lines.lol

Making comparisons is futile. Others seem to accept you, now it's time to learn self acceptance.
People often associate physical attributes with their identity. The truth is, the physical has very little to do with who you are. Your thoughts and actions are the essence of your being. So work on not making comparisons. Be grateful for what you have, and focus on your strengths.

I agree with Soul Quake. How i see it, we're all going to look like the crypt keeper some day anyways, right? What matters isn't how big your gazongas are or whether or not you have full shiney hair, its the kind of person you are. I'm sure you have a good heart and that's what you should focus on, not your cup size.
