Oh thank god I don't have to move my bed!!! happy dance happy dance happy dance!!! I thought it was a little close to the AC, not giving me a full 3 ft egress, but the city inspector just approved it! it's over 2 feet, so... it would have been HELLO to move. just MISERY. i'm so glad I waited for his opinion, that was very smart of me! plus, now, I have the opposite wall for shelves as planned!!! oh joy oh joy oh joy!!! he was pleased with my efforts and very kind, and will return in a month. I can do this!
Thanks for this!

Oh, and this is major. I remembered to certify for my Unemployment Insurance Benefits today.

I e-mailed my physical and chest x-ray to my potential new employer, so the job should start soon. I am really looking forward to going back to work. Like, I'm over the anxiety and just a about delirious with happy anticipation.

Went to work for a mandatory training. Took a short nap and ate some lunch. Went back to work and studied with my supervisor. Picked up and delivered cookie dough. Took caterpillar to dance. Did a load of laundry.

Got up out of bed when I woke instead of waiting until it was time to get up!

Took a shower and was dressed with shoes on buy 5:45am. Had my first cup of coffee before the hubster was even up.

Flushed all of 3 bottles of meds down the toilet. SI'd. New mantra introduced and and associated with toe/spasm (as its 24/7) and that is to focus only on the end and our commitment to only that. Shortening our to do list to only one thing left to do.

I can't resist congratulating you. What you describe are the small victories out of which come great accomplishment. The first really important decision to be made each day is whether and when to get out of bed.(IMHO)

I applied for a second placement as a trainee psychotherapist at a women's prison. It took two hours to complete an on-line application and as I went to print it, I lost everything because of something I (later) found out. I felt like I was slipping into old habits by stressing and becoming upset. On closer inspection it had happened for a reason. I had omitted a whole section which was really important to my application . I calmly filled it all out again much quicker (as I already had info to hand) and felt a whole lot better for not becoming frustrated and seeing that in fact it wasn't the whole world against me, it was my own error . Feeling pleased that it is now all done and I must arrange an induction day be telephone tomorrow . It feels wonderful to have turned around my behaviour from a few years ago when I'd have probably just given up

Happy, Kerry xxxx

I read a few poems.

It pretty much never occurs to me to read fiction, or poetry -other than a few of the Psalms. It does occur to me now that being out of college is not a reason to stop educating myself - broadly. That would do my mind a great deal of good, I think - like - it might well improve my mood.
