catch up: been cooking. doing dishes. going to work. went to PT. went to DBT. did laundry. Hung out with my family this weekend. (this is all stuff I normally do. really feeling like I don't do much of anything right or anything at all) I do come to read though.

Saw my T today. Took caterpillar to dance for 2 hrs. It's sad that those are the only things I "did right".

I'm going to bed now. And considering that regulation of sleep habits is a problem for me, that's something done right.

Came home from staying with my S.O. Here, in my own place, I am trying to correct a mistake I made in failing to certify for my unemployment benefits. I think it is what I should be doing right now. I have to keep redialing the number to try to get through. Stressful, and it may take days, but it's what I need to do. And I am doing it.

Went to beach for fresh air; got healthy food; realized I need to heed warnings about
things about to happen; have to resell used car after putting a new black box engine in it; then there was a hole in the exhaust; now there's another part needed. Enough stress is always the time, I conclude to say stop, something is wrong here when it involves too much money and time. Happily a used car ad from a search awhile back popped into my email, confirming my resolve to unload car headache. Going to try to sleep. Peace,

I got invited to a halloween party, so I guess I'm making friends. I passed a project in that I was seriously considering not handing in because I did it badly... a bad grade is better than nothing, right?

Beholden: Getting more organized is a really helpful thing to do for oneself. Good for you.

I am getting a better grip on things. I was at the hospital for the past 24 hours, but I left, feeling my loved one has gotten the care that was needed and is stable now.

I actually got in the shower and leisurely scrubbed, including my hair....(Of course, now my hair dryer won't work. Ha!)

I plan on getting out with hubby today to do a bit of shopping and spending time together in general. Fridays are date days for us!

Hello to you all! I'm glad to read the good things you are doing to look after yourselves.

Admitted I was over-whelmed at work and slapped a smile on my face - even though I really just wanted to bite off a few head!

Friday - called apartment office first thing and told them I was not ready for re-inspection. pain in my side has been making me ill but seems gone now (sat). put the bed together!!! effing amazing. it's only been here 2 years I think. easier than I thought. used my dad's best helper! never takes a break, never complains, never gets tired - told T about "him" yesterday. T said not to take my construction skills for granted - I said 'for granny'. We talked about how she diminished everything I did. T said he found Ikea diagrams confusing. Not me, I've put together so much stuff. Anyway, it got back to one of our first sesions, where I said I wanted to make breakfast for him. Figured out I wanted it for MYSELF - but had to wait till Saturday when dad was home! Tiptoeing around literally not waking up mom during the week, sleeping with her door OPEN of course! (ridiculous). No get up and go for me. Just be quiet. For ten years. And then more. Well, not any more. I'm gonna make some noise.

Managed to apply the depression tactic of opposites... you know, forcing yourself to do exactly the opposite of what you feel like doing (or probably more accurately, what you don't feel like doing(!)). Got a thing done that isn't too big a deal, but it lead to doing something I wouldn't want to do, even on a good day. (You don't really want to know, it's a gross cleaning chore!) Definitely a sense of accomplishment.

(Been very depressed for so long, so it is a really big deal.)

I definitely overdid it Friday. I have been feeling like a heart attack all day. AND I majorly effed up. I do not have 3 feet clearance all around the balcony door. stupid stupid stupid. I can fix it tomorrow. I rested and recuperated today. my body's ability to heal itself, even at this old age, is amazing. I am still strong, I can't believe it. every time I woke up from a nap, I felt quantifiably better, it was bizarre. I love the new bed, I love having this measured out, bordered space to sleep in, instead of just spreading out, merging into the chaos.

Told my mom happy birthday. Picked a friend and her sister up for church. Helped buy stuff for lunch with a family. Apolagized to caterpillar for getting mad at her for something out of her control. Took friend back to college.

Gave my 3 kids a lovely weekend and am now relaxing and having some down time. Have mopped floor, tidied kitchen after messy breakfast, walked kids to school. Got chimney sweep later and kids clubs so right now I am vegging on my sofa with the cat!

I came home this morning to take care of myself.

Been practically living at the hospital with loved one in ICU, but need to stop neglected my own responsibilities. Now I'm home and I went through my mail, so I don't get late fees on my bills.
