I've been posting a few times in this site and gotten some good advice.

I think a major root cause of my problems is Confidence. I a guy that is so thin and out-of-shape that I look bone-thin anorexic, and cant seem to put on weight no matter what I try. That was the case since I was a teenager.

So as you can imagine I was always picked on for being anorexic even though Im not, always stared at with 'looks', and dismissed by most girls that I liked.

I catch cold easily and get sick alot in the winter. I also therefore lack stamina and cannot keep a job that requires any amount of energy.

Even when Im talking I sound withdrawn and low-key, and people dont hear me. As I've posted earlier, I've even questioned my own sexuality and whether I was gay or not.. even though I only like girls.

SO HOW CAN I ACHIEVE THE ALPHA-MALE CONFIDENCE I NEED? WHAT STEPS CAN I TAKE TO CHANGE MY LIFE?

So far, weights have not made a difference. eating more has not worked except to give me a beer belly with thin arms. haha.

I want to be able to speak with authority and presence, to take up space and really be noticed by girls and potential friends.

Hi anthony81,

Practice helps build self confidence. I would suggest taking some public speaking classes, trying improve, or a group like ToastMasters.

Confidence is all about how you feel about yourself and how much you believe in yourself. Here's an article that really helped me building my confidence.

If you really want to change yourself so you will feel better about your appearance... all you need to do is eat healthy (give up the fatty/sugary/salty/junk/fast foods and eat a well-balanced diet) , try to start doing exercises and your body will change although this'll take time. Weight isn't important , your health is. Last time I tried to gain weight just to look more fat (bcuz I was so thin) by eating donuts and unhealthy stuffs but I didn't feel it but during the time I increased intake of healthy carb-rich (don't go overboard) foods , I gained 5 kilos in 2 months. Pretty great but I know you could do it. I was also a soft-speaker back then but as time progresses I was changing and eventually became better at speeches but I feel I need to improve but my performance was alright. It would just take time!

My boss told me I always doubt myself. I used to speak very low in my teens but I fell out of it. That will probably happen for you too. I understand about confidence problems. I have had it my whole life and now I'm in my early 40's. I wish you well.
