I keep meaning not to post but I do care about people here and keep peeking out from my cave when I see something I can add something to.... in my furry world any positive thoughts and kindness helps and ......I believe in loving both humans and animals. And all change starts today.
What can any of us do about old hurts? Try to make amends and try to forgive ourselves and eventually others.....and if that fails..... move on. My family never apologized to me for their abuse and neglect and never will so I need to stop doing this  to myself. I am worth more than that. We ALL are.Be safe, Fuzzy

Hello I hope things are better for you at this time. Sometimes it is hard to understand other actions, but it is far better to understand ourselves, and focus on what we can do to be the peole we want to be, and not let the past become a stumbling block in our lives. Fuzzybear, I am so sorry that you are hurting. I hibernate, too. Have been hibernating for about 3 years now.
You are indeed legendary. I can't begin to put in words how warm it makes me feel when I see your posts, and your fuzzy bear icons, and dancing hearts and hugs. To me, you are someone who has projected warmth and strength ever since I started coming here in 2004. A loving warmth flows off of you. Whatever hurts you suffered and continue to suffer, your big heart offers so much comfort to others of us who visit here and look forward to seeing your posts. I'm sorry I can't do more to put into words how much your presence means to me and many others who visit the PsychCentral community, I'm sure.
