So now I am in Lisbon and I have felt sick twice almost passed out from rehydration (the plane gives us very tiny glasses of water). I have caught my first Pokémon because I got a new phone at Dubai. The first day here I woke up early and felt more optimistic then I've ever felt. I realized for once in my life that I had much more potential then the potential I had in Australia (all I did was sit on the couch on my laptop). Only now I realized I could have friends and travel wherever I wanted. Like I can see so much beyond my self isolation and obsessing with the idea of closeness in love. Maybe now I can see beyond how I behaved and adjust to see new opportunities of self improvement.

My suggestion is to put the Pokemon down and enjoy what culture and sites these new places have to offer. I think you have a far higher potential to meet people that way.

Jet lag can affect people in different ways and it is also dependent on which direction you are travelling and how many time zones you are skipping. In your case you are travelling forwards in time putting a great deal of time zones behind you. Hence you feel more energetic. Note it will feel the opposite when you return the other direction. In the meantime, enjoy the new found energy.

Are you travelling solo? I prefer that as it is far less stressful. If you are with other people, don't be afraid for 'me' time. Take the opportunity to follow your own interests too. I am jealous by the way.

you are absolutely correct. I need to put this in the "I'm and idiot thread" I'm so embarrassed.
