I have a really low self-esteem. I always feel like I'm not good enough to be welcomed. This is making it very difficult for me to approach people and make friends — even though I really want to have more friends. Can you share your ways on how to cope with a low self-esteem? Thank you very much!

Hi dwilliams10,

You mentioned you want to cope with low self esteem. Is this what you really want or do you want to build you self esteem? It is possible, I did it. It won't happen over night, it takes time. The best single piece of advice I can give is to put yourself in uncomfortable situations and looking for all of the things you did right and the things that went well. Start small and build up, push you comform zone everyday. This is one of the things that helped me the most.
