Starting another group therapy tomorrow. This one is on cognitive therapy. It's called 'mind over moods'. Yes, I know I need it badly, that's why I'm going. Hoping in a group therapy setting that it works out better than it did for me in individual therapy a few years ago. I totally suck at this and no, that's not a lie. I'm sure the T that I had at the time would back me up on that. I just couldn't do it whatsoever. Maybe in a group, I'll be better, one can only hope. I know this is probably the wrong forum for this thread but I only feel safe here, somewhat.

I think it will do you good.

Now don't take it personal if any of these people point things out in you in which those here who care for you already have.

I think I know you too well already. Group therapy

Girl you need to get a lot tougher, have you ever wanted something so bad that you stood up and fought for it?
Don't give up

I hope you are feeling a bit better today..... a lot of us have been extra sensitive lately, including me Group therapy Group therapy

I read one of your posts where you said you value honesty highly..... I am the same way. If a "friend" lies to me, especially more than once, the friendship is often, in effect, over Group therapy (I am not meaning you! {I hardly know you}.... Just thought I had better clarify)
At the very least, it takes me a LONG time to regain any trust in that person Group therapy

Sending you good thoughts!

AngelGirl if you have a problem with self-esteem use this forum, but if you just want to use this for a woe is me site, others on this forum are accepting the wisdom of the posters, instead of dwelling on not getting better
Also if you have a problem with me, tell me not Angie, we are in the same body but are totally different

I'm not sure how I feel today. My level of depression is all over the place. I have a major problem with reacting to posts that I read. I'm trying to stay on an even keel but the boat is rocking big time. Group therapy But at least I'm trying. Can't promise to actually stay in the boat as opposed to falling overboard. Group therapy It might help if I didn't have to balance that damn seagull on my head too. Group therapy

Not sure why you're bringing up honesty but yes, I consider it to one of the most highest of virtues to have. Once lied to, I then start wondering what other lies I didn't catch in the past. Trust is broken and for me, extremely hard to regain. Honesty and trust. Very crucial for me. I consider myself to be an extremely honest person.

Thanks for the good thoughts and hugs. Certainly could use them both. Sending same back to you. ((((((((((Fuzzybear))))))))))

Well, I'm ashamed to admit that I reacted really badly to something here yesterday and I totally shutdown and spent the rest of the day in bed. I have to be stronger next Monday. Group therapy It will probably be wise for me to not even log on next Monday so I don't have the ability to react negatively to negative posts directed at me. Group therapy

Who said anything about giving up? That's exactly what this thread is about, me NOT giving up. That's why I'm taking both individual and group therapy. That doesn't sound like someone who is giving up to me. Not sure why you think it is. Group therapy

Just because I used the 'fight or flight' repsonse and chose 'flight' doesn't mean I'm quitting. I'm still in therapy and in my books that is NOT quitting. What I don't like is sarcastic remarks on what is supposed to be a forum for support and btw, 'tough love' does NOT work with me. Group therapy

I don't even know why this comment is even appropriate on a thread where I stated I was getting more help than I was before. This WAS a positive thread until you made this remark. Group therapy
