I just read in the paper that my abuser has been arrested for sexually abusing another child. This is the third time he has been caught.

He abused me for a few years starting at age 4 and went to jail for 1 1/2 years. Then he got caught again for doing it to an 8 year old and served 5 years. Now he has been caught again.

Why do they keep letting him out??? I am so freaked out. I can't hold on anymore. I want to be gone. This man is related to me. I want to disapear and go inside.

Jen, I don't know why they keep letting him out. They don't sentence him to enough time.

I'm so frightened. I'm going to drown.

I know how to perform castration. This man should never have anymore power. Testify at his sentencing that he is a habitual offender. There are probably many more then those who are known. He can also be chemically castrated. He is sick but you are safe and you have power! You can call the procecuder and tell your story and your fears of many more victims. He can be put away for a very long time. I am sorry he has hurt other children. Innocent baby, please let us help you find peace.

This castration talk reminds me of something one of my teachers in high school said. In a way, it's kind of humorous, but I think it really does sound like a good idea - though a bit primitive.

Anyway, this teacher said that if we really wanted to stop sex crimes perpetrated by men, then the punishment should be this..... Nail his member to a tree stump and douse it with gasoline. Then give him a match and an ax and let him decide how to proceed.

In all seriousness, there are people I'd like to do this to. And this guy is one of them.

Gem, calling the D.A. and/or the victim's advocate will give you power, not hurt you. Be the powerful person you are and take a stand. The victim's advocate will be great. Speak up, speak out!

I know my words make it look like I think it is easy. I know better. Say the words out loud to the advocate and prosecuder. It is not your shame to bear, it is his and it is the legal systems. How many more babies will be victimized by this man if you don't find your voice and use it. Create a public mob. Let everyone know. You are safe, it is in the past and you have ALL of the power now. The guy is a stinkin rotten scum bag with so little power that he has to hurt little children sexually.

Gem,
I am so sorry that this is happening. I'm angry too, with the laws that defend these monsters.
That is like the law that they want to have neighborhoods made aware that there is a sex offender in their neighborhood, and there are some that claim by doing so would invade on the rights of privacy of these monsters, grrrrrr! Why should they be given rights to privacy if they have robbed many of their rights, and destroyed so many people's lives? Grrrrr!
Some of the laws just behoove me.
Please take care now,
DE

I agree DE, they should stop protecting the bad people.

I called the DA, but I don't feel any better. He said being a witness to the uncle's history would help them out a lot. I am really scared about that though. His new victim is 11 and he is saying that it was consenual. I almost threw up when he told me that.

I am so frightened of seeing him. His picture in the paper was the first time I had seen that face in years. I feel like everything is happening to me again. It is happening again...and it hurts so bad...

I know it must have taken so much courage to call the DA. You were so brave to do it!!

It sounds like he is a really horrible man. What 11-year-old is really capable of consenting?

GEM, I know it can be really, really hard most of the time, but try to rememver that you are safe now. He can't hurt you anymore.
