I just thought of that term via a long and convoluted thought process.

I have never seen, heard, smelt or read it anywhere.... and I certainly would NOT want to taste it..... so to me it's original. I doubt that I am the first bear who has ever used that term though. Such is the vastness of the jungle. C'est la vie. Personally I don't really mind or care. But it would be nice if I was the only person who has ever used that word. I wonder why I am posting this. But I am working on my own inner critic and trying to silence it or quiet it. So I tend to be less critical of both my own posts and some other peoples posts than I used to be. To me, that is part of healing. I often feel like an oddity. Perhaps I am. Another way of looking at that is that I am special Emotional Vampires

I think part of getting healthier is learning how to limit the damage inflicted by those creatures. The emotional vampires. Or the emotional parasites. Or just people who are flat out toxic to us (but who might get on just fine with some)

I am sure every one of us who posts here has had such creatures, or similar, in their life.

Good luck to all ... including ME....in your work towards freedom and healing Emotional Vampires

I did a search (a "standarrd" google search). I didn't coin or invent that term. I am not surprised.

Thoughts distort, twist, what I am trying to say. So many different meanings, realities (?) and perceptions to the same words, to the same speech patterns Emotional Vampires

I doubt if I could ever invent a term in current usage........ um.... that doesn't make sense. So maybe make up my own language. But then NO ONE would understand. Not a good idea. A terrible idea. But maybe ok for my journal.

Lots of reading to do to see what fits where. To work on my reality, to see where my perceptions of people in my past and present have been accurate and true. I already know my perceptions are real (thanks sky, re thread in PTSD)

Yo fuzzy wuzzy bearzy, hey, you silly honey pot, us bunnies are afraid you missed an important piont... you may not have invented the term emotinal vampire/parasite BUT, honey pie, you are so tuned in you got it. You are healing even if it feels crappoleeeee right now. Your perceptions are right on. It's just dealing with the reality.... figuring out how to do it your way..... take care of your self..... that is on the ol table.

Finding tuned in people to befriend and trust....... hard. The nature of the times has everybody more or less limbic......
I have found that only people who were already cognizant they had troubles and getting help, have coping strategies to deal with the current level of fears sifted down from the powers that be over all of us. Other folks are still hanging onto everything's fine and up to their ears in denial.......

ya know? ))))))) ) ) ) fuzzybear (((((( ( ( (
