Bronee -- I hope you believe deep into your soul that your mother was very, very, very wrong. It was NOT your fault! You needed your mother to be there for you and she wasn't. She pushed you away when you needed to be consoled and needed help. That was very wrong also! I really hate when I hear stories like this. We need people to understand and put blame where it belongs -- with the rapists. They should be ashamed -- not us. It is their fault, all their fault! no matter what excuses they make, or what blame others try to put on us. I know it wasn't your fault. You deserved better, from everyone. I can relate, and I'm sorry for both of us.
