(((8888an8888))) It was not your fault in any way. You were a child. Please be gentle with yourself and love yourself because you are worth it and you matter. Pain comes and pain goes. Hang on. YOU MATTER !!

I did this same thing for decades for several reasons. Forgive yourself, you have no fault in this.

((8888an8888)),

When someone struggles with PTSD or have a challenged history like you have, many of them, if not most of them "self blame" for a while. It takes time and patience to allow yourself to grieve the ways you have been hurt and work with people that "do" understand your challenge and can validate your "hurts" and confusion. After a while, you will begin to heal and realize that your hurts are not your fault, because they are not.

Hi 8888an8888, and again from me..........you really have no fault at all in what happened
The responsibility isn't/never was yours. And there's never any justification or excuse for what happened/for the person actually responsible, the blame is always gong to remain 101% with them.
And you weren't stupid, you weren't pathetic........you were vulnerable, as would any child be in that situation, faced with what you were faced with..........and that wasn't your fault, it was their fault only for putting you in that situation, for what happened.
