First off,I just want to say I experienced SA throughout my entire childhood,up until I left home when I was 17.

As a child, whenever I got the chance to,when I was left home alone, when I was 100% sure no one else was around,I would go into my bedroom, take off all my clothes and just be naked while I was playing, and then when I was older,as I listened to music, wrote in my journal or whatever.

It felt so freeing. It felt so empowering.I really enjoyed not wearing clothes and knowing I was safe as I did that(well, until I found out a teenage neighbor had been watching me through my window).

As an adult,I still do that when I am positive no one else is around. It still feels just as freeing and empowering as it did in childhood.

I am not able to do so around my husband,it has to be when nobody else is around at all.I do make sure all curtains are closed now,and I walk around the entire house, not just the bedroom.

I guess my thoughts, while I am doing it,are " this is MY body,I am in control of MY body, nobody else has control of it,I am free to walk around without clothes, knowing I am safe, knowing I will not be harmed, and I am doing this because I CAN,and it feels GREAT".

Anyone else feel the same as I do on this?

This empowers you, and does no harm to yourself or anyone else. Frolick in the buff as much as you like.
The world would be a better place if we all found our outlet, as you have.

Thanks PumpkinPieHead,I guess I never thought of it as an 'outlet', I just assumed I am strange for doing that.

Hi, I don't think you are strange. Me too I walked naked sometimes in my flat. Even though I live alone I most of nights sleep naked which is the opposite from when I was in a relationship. My sister bought me a robe this Christmas so now when I wake up I just put it on while doing my stuff before getting dressed, and at night I put it after my shower.

That is AWESOME. Not strange or problematic.

I HATE being naked. Only in the past couple of years have I quit wearing underwear in the shower. I think your preference is much healthier, to be honest. Thanks you for sharing!

I enjoy being naked too. Clothes just feel too restrictive to me sometimes. There are many things one can do naked, though I don't recommend frying bacon that way. Especially for males.

Hi Crispapple

I can relate to your post. I've been doing the same since my teenage years. In hindsight I did it to escape the religiously constrictive family environment. It was also a way to express myself at a time when I had no voice in the family. I even carried on with nudism in adulthood, attending clubs or nudist beaches. Yes it is liberating and freeing. If it harms no one, why not do it?
