For once in my life, I am so proud of myself! I confronted my abuser in an email. I had enough guts to talk about certain situations, and tell him how wrong he really was! I feel so happy, and free! He wrote back, of course taking absolutely no responsibility for his actions, but I exspected nothing less. I feel so empowered, like his hold over me is gone. I still have to process the memories, and deal with what he did, but I did it. I took back the power he took from me! He has no hold on me anymore, and thats so liberating! I will survive after all! Thanks for listening!

That is called Restorative Justice..which s ays....this is whatyou did, this is how it made me feel. SO empowering. Congratulations!

I can empathise with your elation and euphoria of taking back and control of your life! I to confronted my abuser (Dads` sister) 29 yrs after it happened (Age 6) for an answer! `AND GUESS WHAT` The same answer as yours`!!!! I hate her now and I don't` have anything too do with her no-more! ( could not tell me dad, as this was a sign of weakness!!!)
