i am happy that you dont know me
i am over 50 now and it has taken events i didn't see coming ,for me to need to search for somewhere to write this
i was born in **** but fortunately taken away from ****, my older brothers and sisters were surviving and living in ****.
At 3 i was dropped back into **** but unfortunately for me because id experienced "good" the **** was more severe to me in my view
my oldest brother survived the **** by sacrificing the younger siblings to the the ****
the next sibling down in age survived the **** by joining in giving the **** and eventually drinking himself to death
the next sibling down had to just take the **** and try her best to get on with life and even to this day me and her have so much **** we cant mention that we talk about every thing except the truth.
The next sibling down is me.
The next sibling down lives in denial while ruining her life, marriage and family due to drink as a way of escape .
The next sibling down drinks to excess while her all family is taken away by social services "thankfully" (the events that bring me to this thread")
the next sibling down recovers from drink abuse and remains sober and states "he will never have or want children ".
The next sibbling down to my shame i choose to have no contact with due to her drug and alcohol abuse .
what kills me to this day is any one of us could have been great if we hadn't had to live and survive in this ****
i am a good man with grown up children who enjoy their lives and a wife ive never told and never will of the real **** some kids have to endure and fight the rest of their lives to try to be equal

Hello that's not me: I'm sorry you had such a difficult time growing up. Hopefully coming here to PC can be of some comfort & support. From what you wrote, though, it sounds as though you have somehow managed to overcome what you experienced. This is to be celebrated!

I see this is your first post here on PC. So... to PsychCentral… from the Skeezyks! May the time you spend here be of benefit.

PsychCentral is a great place to get information as well as support for mental health issues. The more you post, & reply to other members’ posts, the more a part of the community you will become. Plus there are social groups you can join & chat rooms where you’ll be able to connect with other PC members in real time (once your first 5 posts have been reviewed & approved.) Lots of great stuff! So please keep posting!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
