Just sweep it under the carpet
hide the pain and sorrow
leave it all 'til another day
and think the same tomorrow.....
This is what survivors do
to forget about the guilt
but one day, just out of the blue
all the tears are spilt.
Too long it's been festering
too long wearing that mask
the filth and the grime starts to stink
so begins the long task.
Heal, your body, heal your soul
your mind, your feelings your being.....
no matter how long this process takes
In the end only beauty you'll be seeing.....
