I'm finding all but step 1 difficult to fully embrace and start to act on.

It is difficult to admit we have no power over something. One has to really work on letting go. You may have to talk to yourself in the mirror everyday until you finally start to believe it

Yes i have just started 12 step debtors anonymous. I was really fighting step 1,i guess i am more of a control freak than i realuzed!i simply could not admit that i cant control everything/all outcomes/am not in charge!the flip side of this-which is so strange-is at the same time i felt that my debting was our if control!that i had no power/no control..but i could not admit it here or anywhere,and now i have. Great relief
