about going back to school------always wanted to have my degree before 50--well, that goal got pushed back from 30, 40, 45.....and now i'm past the 50 goal.
H and i talked at length, insiders talked at length, and we decided to go for it! so, now the goal is pushed back again to 60!!!!
now the quest begins for looking for the "right" school.
I'm an adult with experiences that would fit into 2 or 3 lifetimes--well, i guess the do sorta--not an 18 yr old high school student and i want to find someplace that will respect that.
thnking of counselling psychology-----and my T teaches at one of the best colleges around this area for that degree--unfortunately, she teaches the core courses and the practicum....
so now i search for grants, schools and ideas where to go.

Any ideas on women's grants will be accepted!!!

Congrads first up, so happy your going to do this.

You need to talk to the financial aide office there at the school. They will more then likely tell you, you'll need to fill out the forms for student aide. You do that on the web now.

http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/

I would do this online and it would let me apply for State and Federal grants at the same time. But talk to the Financial aide office first. Every state is different. But if they tell you to fill out the federal student aide forms. This is the website to them.
