My cycle this time is making me very tired. Yesterday I slept almost the whole entire day away, and today I slept in way too long. Anyone have any idea on how to get rid of this. I drink coffee, and that isn't helping at all. I have ate, so I just don't know.

I had the same problem with mine this month. But, it seems to happen to me every few months it will be a lot worse than usual. Depression, fatigue, irritability, and my appetite gets outrageous. I haven't found anything to help so far. I hope someone has some kind of suggestion cause that's no fun at all.
Thanks for this!

i don't know why that would be but maybe doing some gentle exercise would help you out.

Mine got worse on Adderall, which sucks since it really helps my ADHD symptoms. My last cycle was a week late and a day longer than normal. And the headaches were worse! GRRR!

Once again I wonder, since I had FINALLY convinced my doctor to "tie my tubes" when they took my youngest (2nd C-Section), and had my uterus outside my body to take her, why didn't they just take it too? I was done with it!

Alas, while we can not change these things, at least we can support eachother and mean it when we say "I understand!"

dont know your age , but that can be a factor. near menopause its fairly common for your cycle to change. at least thats what my doc said when i complained.
Thanks for this!

Have you blood levels checked Michele, you may be anemic (sp) I never tolerated iron suppliments nor do I like any kind of liver so I just muddled through it. If you like liver have that for dinner.

Good suggestion, AAAAA. If you like spinach, it has iron, too. Fresh is best. Canned has something in it that's not good for the kidneys. Not sure of anything else that is magic for us girls.

I'm 35 and no I'm not into menopause yet. I would say since maybe late 20's until now, my cycles will act different. Usually I take some advil, and I'm fine, except for the fact that I have pms. That has always been there. I just have never slept a whole day away over it.

AAAAA and Vickie thanks. AAAAA I hate liver, lol, but I do like fresh spinach, so next time I go to the georcery store I will make sure I buy some spinach. I guess maybe I need to get back on vitaims again. I was thinking about getting back on birth control, but I really don't want to do that, because too much brest cancer runs in my family. I really need to have a female examine, but I HATE getting them. I would rather go to the dentist, then an OBGYN.

DO get the exam, I hate them too, but some things we must do anyway. FYI, menopause can take 10 years to complete so don't count it totally out. There are blood tests and things they can do to let you know where you are on that front.

There is the possibility of Peri-Menopause. I would check with your doctor about that. I am 34 and have signs of it.
