Hi new here.

I'll just launch into it I guess. Husband recently admitted something dissturbing and illegal. I don't even want to post what it is. I need help dealing with it and I'm not sure I want to talk to him about it right now. I have my own issues, Generalized Anziety, been on zoloft at a low level for like 4 years. Probably premenstrual right now, first period after getting off birth control 2 months ago. High blood pressure, on meds for that, not sleeping right, eating issues, I'm just plain tired of everything.

Welcome!

I know the feeling of being overwhelmed and of being so very tired of it all. I have to remember to take extra special care of self during these times, with rest, watching diet, walks, and a lot of deep breaths to help for perspective.

I am sorry to hear of the position you have been placed in with your husband. Is there a therapist or counselor you can talk to? W/o going into the legalities, only to say that my husband "has placed a significant burden on me by doing something he shouldn't have", making it general and so you can specifically talk about the relationship and personal issues. I can imagine the toil it must be taking on you.

I really wish I could help more but know I will be thinking about you and sending a big hug. Take GOOD care of yourself meanwhile!
Thanks for this!

Sorry you're feeling overwhelmed at the moment Birdnut. Hope something shifts soon so you can work on the rest better.

I'm sorry that you're feeling so low and anxious. Are you working with a couselor for treatment of GAD? I'd recommend talking with your T, if you have one, about the things on your mind. If you don't have a T, you should get one. It really helps me to let dark thoughts and feelings out. Then, my mind is free to move on to other issues.

Gentle hugs to you ~ welcome to Psych Central.
