I have a light I use, and it helps me a lot when I do it. I feel more in touch with the world, less "in a fog."
But then I do it for a few days, feel better, stop doing it, then feel worse. Whoops. I have very bad PMS, but I get angry instead of depressed. The light doesn't do anything for the mood swings. |

It's a "nature bright suntouch plus." I've used it off and on (mostly off) for over 2 years and haven't had to replace bulbs. I like it, but it's hard to find the time to sit by a big box.
![]() I'm surprised more people haven't responded. I think I heard about them on here, but it was a while ago. Maybe in the depression forum? I was in the Pacific Northwest last summer and a LOT of people use them for SAD. I'd never heard of using them for PMS/PMDD, but it sounds like a good idea for someone who gets sluggish/tired/sad during that time. |
