Im alittle under weight for my age group and it never seemed to bother me to much until i started dating the guy im dating now. Ive been trying to become a normal weight for years now but just gave up till this past year because my boyfriend said he likes girls with meat on their bones. I was offended at first by his obsession with bigger girls..but hes talked to me more about it and said he didnt care either way and loves me for me..
Im just worried he will someday leave me for someone that has weight if i dont gain what is in his liking.. Idk what to do..

Some people are just naturally slightly underweight. I was for years. Now I'm considered "normal" but still on the very light side, and I believe any of the weight I have is actually muscle because I've started dancing and working out. My fiance is also on the skinny side; I believe he's considered under weight.

First, I don't think you should stress about this too much. He has told you that he loves you the way you are. Men like women that are confident in themselves and about their bodies. Working on your self esteem will help ease the worries that you have.

Second, make sure you're eating healthy, getting enough calories (good calories, not empty ones that you find in junk food and sodas), and working out (you can do work outs like Pilates that will help you get long lean muscles as opposed to bulky muscles). That way, regardless of how much you weigh, you're healthy, and that's what counts.

He's dating you for other things than the number on the scale. Try to stay positive and remind yourself of all the things he loves about you, your personality, sense of humor, your gorgeous smile. Don't be too hard on yourself

Take care

Totally agree with Roman. If he says he doesn't care....then he doesn't Also, something to remember is that what guys might like looking at...doesn't necessarily mean he wants to date that type.

Fill you in on some adventures I have had with my bf haha.....I found his porn stash. It is ALL over 40 and tattooed girls. Now, I have 5 tattoos but they are not visible unless I'm in a swimsuit. Wanting to be a professor....I'm trying to keep them not visible for jobs later on. And I'm younger than him.....

So everything he has in his little stash suggests he wants a 50 yr old covered in tattoos lol but I'm the opposite. So it really is your personality.

And the underweight thing....I know it's frustrating. I have been 5'9'' since my sophomore year. I was 115 lbs.....at 5'9''. I was skin and bones. I tried so hard to gain weight and finally I started to....then I went overboard and got up to 180!!!!! The biggest I have ever been. So then I had to lose another 25. Talk about frustrating! It has taken me about 5 years of fluctuation to finally get to my ideal weight and stay there. So don't get too discouraged. Everyone is built a certain way. As long as you are happy with yourself then everything is fine.

The only thing that comes along with being skinny like that is some vitamin deficiencies possibly. If you are really concerned with not being able to gain weight, take a prenatal. Then you are covering all the bases and if you stay skinny....BE HAPPY! lol. Most women would LOVE to complain about being too skinny haha
Thanks for this!
