I hate shopping. If I have to go, I go early in the morning before many people are there, so I can just get in and get out, and make the unpleasant outing as short as possible. A few friends from distant places were meeting in my area and we were all going to get together. They wanted to go to an outlet mall to spend our time together. Horrors! I wanted to spend time with them but not shopping, but I went. I remember they wanted to go in all the shops and do stuff in them, like try on random clothes and spray themselves with different perfumes in the perfume store. Every store they had something they wanted to do in there, and they really didn't buy much. After a couple of hours of this, I had to excuse myself and I sat on a bench in the sun and dosed until they were done. I just don't understand what you are supposed to do when you go shopping as an entertainment activity. It is like a sport I never learned to play.

Seriously dislike shopping - even grocery shopping! The only shopping I enjoy is what I can do from my laptop

There's probably more of us out there than you would think.I REALLY haate shopping for shoes the most bc my feet are wide, I call them TROLL FEET!
Sounds like what I do at Petco, Kindred--I go in for dog food and say hi to the birds!

Yes, I have largish feet, too. Sensible shoes for me is either sneakers or sandals. Heels usually cram my toes together.

I dont really like shopping either, especially in the big malls. It is just too much stuff in my opinion, too much choice and also too expensive.

I would rather shop at Dressbarn stroll around find something I need and get out.
I just think there are way too many options now and I don't like seeing too many things that I like, then I just think about them, what a waste, out of sight out of mind in my book.

I do like antique shopping and quaint little shops somtimes. But that is about it.

With clothes and shoes, I shop only when I think need something. I don't like the big crowds at the malls. I enjoy shopping for books a lot. Psychology and general self-help are my favorite sections.

I really dislike shopping, especially for clothes. I go in long enough to figure out what my current size is and buy the rest online.

And feeling guilty for buying for myself? Yep! I even am trying to talk my husband out of buying me a nice birthday present. He's not listening though, so I guess I'm fortunate.
