I found out yesterday that I have a severe form of amenhorrhea which causes me to have frequent menstruation, often two cycles a month. My doctor told me that I am a candidate for balloon ablation, though it will leave me infertile and never able to have a child of my own. Has anyone frozen their eggs? How much does it cost? How long is the procedure?

I would talk to the doctor; the balloon ablation wrecks your uterine lining so you wouldn't be able to carry a baby (not just be infertile). You were thinking of freezing your eggs to implant in another woman? I think all of that is very expensive.
