Hi ladies,
I've been searching online for a good cloth pad pattern...has anyone tried this? I ordered one from GladRags just to see if I like the idea or not.

Any experience/suggestions?
Thanks!

I never have and the thought of it kinda weirds me out but it makes sense environmentally. Also, if you are not comfortable with washing it every month, also think about a menstrual cup. These collect the fluid and have many more advantages.

I have thought about it but don't know if I'm ready to be that much of a "hippie" haha

Thanks ladies! Mine should be coming in the mail in a few days. Don't know how I'm going to explain that package to my parents, though...

Hey I use them! I really like them because they are reusable.. it weirded me out at first but after going through it... I realized it just get dirty then you clean it

you could try etsy or something - some people make them there. I've been wanting to try making it myself but havne't gotten to it yet.

when I was shopping for them I found some places on etsy had home-made ones for decent prices so that's what I tried.

there basically the the same as the gladrags you brought. the only thing that's keeping me from buying them is there steep price tag for there kits!

I'm currently in the process of making my own. I have the pieces of fabric all cut out and everything, but I never really learned to use a sewing machine (Mom was afraid I'd sew my fingers ), and have been meaning to sit down one day and figure it out.
