I've been shaving down there since I was in college- it seems like my hair is growing faster as I get older. I have to have once a week bc it get stubbly and itchy.

Does this hair grow in faster as I get older or is bc I've been shaving so long that it grows in thicker? Ugh, it's annoying

I generally think women tend to get hairier, at least with some facial hair as they go through menopause. I'm not sure about other places. It might be a good question to ask your regular doc.
Thanks for this!

It's possible that the hair is growing in thicker, or that your body is changing as you're getting older.

I find I'm getting more facial hair as I got older, and I definitely get a lot more facial hair when it's that time of the month.
Thanks for this!

Have you changed the angle that you shave at?

Odd question, I know. But I've heard that when we shave, we change the angle that the hair grows back in at, and that makes it appear thicker when it's really not. So maybe you've recently changed the angle that you used to shave at so it's seeming thicker in comparison.

You could also try exfoliating before and lotion after. Maybe it's dry skin that's making it itchy, which makes you feel like you need to shave more...
Thanks for this!
